Middle East crude steel output rises in Jun
According to statistics from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), the production of crude steel in the Middle East reached around 3.11 million tons in June, up by 3.4% compared to the same month a year ago. 

Among them, the production from Saudi Arabia had a year-on-year decrease of 7.5% to 430,000 tons roughly, while that from Iran, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) showed a year-on-year increase of 6.1%, 2.6% and 2.8% respectively. 

In the first 6 months this year, the crude steel production in the Middle East totaled approximately 18.3 million tons, compared to 17.6 million tons in the same period a year earlier.
