It was reported that Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) announced to start the review of anti-dumping measures for hot-rolled coils imported from China and Indonesia. This anti-dumping duty (AD duty) was levied on February 13th, 2015. The AD duty rate for China and Indonesia were 2.49% and 25.4% respectively.
Based upon the source, this review applicant was delivered by Persero, and Indonesian manufactures as the only hot-rolled manufacturer in Malaysia, Megasteel, has officially stopped production on March 30th, 2016.
