Malaysia sets provisional AD duties against galvanized steel from China & Vietnam
It was reported that after investigation filed by FIW Steel Sdn Bhd on behavior of the domestic galvanized steel producers, Malaysian Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) will set provisional anti-dumping duties against galvanized steel from China and Vietnam for 120 days. The duties ranged from 3.33% to 16.13%.

FIW Steel said that these imports from China and Vietnam were sold to Malaysian market at much lower prices, causing material injury to the domestic industry. A statement from MITI said that there were enough proofs to continue with the investigation on galvanized steel from these two countries.
