Japanese steel product orders drop in Jun
According to statistics from the Japan Iron and Steel Federation (JISF), Japanese mills' orders of ordinary carbon steel totaled around 5.1 million tons in June, which decreased by 5% from the previous month and dropped by 9.5% from the same month a year ago. 

Among these orders, the total export orders were about 1.7 million tons, declining by 8.4% month on month and 12.8% year on year. The total domestic orders were around 3.4 million tons, down by 0.4% from May and 7.7% from June last year.

Besides, the total orders from manufacturers were around 1.5 million tons, up by 3.5% month on month while declining by 1.3% year on year.
