Japanese stainless steel scrap imports slightly reduce for May
According to Japan's Ministry of Finance statistics showed that Japanese stainless steel scrap imports totaled 9,698 tons in May this year, down by 1% compared with previous month. in January-May of this year, Japanese stainless steel scrap imports totaled 44,912 tons.
The reason was LME nickel price fell in May, as well as the average import price of scrap in South Korea fell, however, Indonesia, Taiwan and the United States average import price of scrap rose.
