Japanese stainless steel scrap imports decline in Sep
According to the statistics from Japanese Ministry of Finance, Japan imported around 4,800 tons of stainless steel scrap this September, significantly dropping by 21.3% compared to the previous month. 

Among them, the imports from South Korea were around 2,600 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 12.73%; those from Taiwan were around 900 tons, a month-on-month drop of 41.97%; those from the US were around 670 tons, a month-on-month decline of 19.59%.

In the first 9 months this year, the imports of stainless steel scrap in Japan amounted to 66,000 tons roughly, reducing by 35.98% compared to the same period a year earlier.
