Italy govt allows stainless steel industry to resume working on May 4
According to the market in Italy, the average prices of stainless steel in Italy had increased this month, due to the strong nickel price.
On May 4th, the Italian government had allowed the stainless steel industry to resume their commercial activities and production behavior, due to the easing COVID-epidemic.
However, although the stainless steel price had been supported by the strong nickel price, the current stainless steel demand and transaction in Italy were both still low, not resume yet, which forced many stainless steelmakers to decrease their output to react to the recent market.
