Iranian SALCO to launch new aluminum ingot production line
According to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of Iran, Iranian South Aluminum Corporation (SALCO)’s annual production of aluminum ingot was expected to reach 100,000 tons in the Iranian month from November 22nd to December 21st.
It was forecasted that SALCO could reach an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons afterward, and the capacity of aluminum ingot and billet might also come to 1 million tons per year.
SALCO aimed to become the largest aluminum producer in Iran and the fourth largest aluminum producer in the Middle East.
