Iranian aluminum production slides in first 4 months of Iranian year
According to the statistics from Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation (IMIDRO), in the first 4 months of this Iranian year (March 21st-July 22nd), the aluminum production from the main domestic producers totaled around 83,200 tons, dropping by 32% compared to the same period a year ago. 

Among them, the production from Iranian Aluminium Company (IRALCO) accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 61,200 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1%. Hormozal Aluminum Company ranked second, with a total production of 10,600 tons roughly, a year-on-year decrease of 72%. Almahdi Aluminum Company ranked third with around 9,800 tons, down by 59% year on year.

As of July 22nd, Iranian aluminum production in July amounted to around 21,000 tons, dropping by 31% compared to the same period a year earlier.
