Indian Vedanta aims to raise aluminum exports to global markets
Vedanta, Indian largest aluminum producer, aimed to increase its shipments of aluminum to the global markets by exporting over 50% of aluminum products in the fiscal year 2019 regardless of rising domestic aluminum imports.

According to the data, Vedanta had an annual production of 1.96 million tons of aluminum products and had once reached 17% growth from a year ago when India faced a surge of aluminum imports and domestic market demand continued to curtail.

Vedanta said it had seen the growth of international sales in the regions, such as Asia, Europe, North and South America, growing by at least 30% to 1.3 million tons in 2019.
