According to the data from the Indian government, India imported around 360,000 tons of steel from China in the second quarter, significantly up by 67% compared to the previous quarter.
In addition, the steel imports from Japan amounted to around 370,000 tons, a remarkable increase of 47% quarter on quarter; those from South Korea totaled around 750,000 tons, rising by 3% from last quarter.
