Indian Hindalco announces its aluminum production hit a record high

The company said on Tuesday that the net income of India's top aluminum producer was about US$77.88 million in the fourth quarter, compared to 4 billion rupees the same period of last year.
Mumbai headquarters said the company's fourth quarter revenue grew by 26%, up to 119 billion 700 million rupees. Aluminum production increased by 12% in the fiscal year, reaching 1 million 300 thousand tons, and alumina production increased by 8% to 2 million 900 thousand tons.
