India launches first AD sunset review on aluminum alloy wheels from 3 countries
On August 10th, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced to conduct the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on aluminium alloy road wheels originating in or imported from China, South Korea and Thailand.
The dumping investigation period was from April 1st, 2017 to March 31st, 2018. The damage investigation period was from April 2014 to March 2015, April 2015 to March 2016, April 2016 to March 2017 and April 1st, 2017 to March 31st, 2018.
The Indian customs codes for the products involved were 8087.70, 87087000, 87082900, 87008900, 87129990, 87149990 and 87089400.
On May 22nd, 2015, the Indian Consumer Tax and Customs Central Committee announced to impose a five-year anti-dumping duty on relative products originating in China, South Korea and Thailand, with dumping duty from US$1.37-2.15/kg for China, US$1.18/kg for South Korea, and US$1.06/kg for Thailand.
