India applies stainless steel in construction with global infrastructural standards
The Indian Stainless Steel Development Association (ISSDA) has promoted to use stainless steel for application on buildings and infrastructure with the adoption of global infrastructural standards.

Kolkata is a city near the sea which makes the city require more maintenance. There were lots of heritage buildings and grand colonial architecture in this city.

However, most materials used for bridges and flyovers are going to be in corrosion. Frequent maintenance is needed. By using stainless steel for the construction material, the maintenance issues can be solved.

India is the fastest growing market for stainless steel. Indian total stainless steel melt production totaled approximately 3.6 million tons for long and flat products currently.
