IAI: Global aluminum production rises in Jul
According to statistics released by the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), global aluminum production totaled around 5.4 million tons in July, up by 2.5% compared to the previous month, while dropping by 1.3% from the same month a year ago,
In the first 7 months of this year, global aluminum production amounted to approximately 37.1 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.4%.
Among them, the production from China had a year-on-year decline of 0.6% to 20.9 million tons roughly, accounting for 56.4% of the total global production.
