SHANGHAI, Dec 5 (ASG) – China’s largest steelmaking province of Hebei required part of its cities to implement level II anti-smog measures for three days starting from 12:00 CST December 7, as unfavourable weather may raise the risks of smog from December 7.
Cities including Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Hengshui, Xingtai, Handan, Dingzhou, and Xinji are covered in the round of environmental curbs.
Industrial companies, who are up to emission standards and in the so-called positive list, will be exempt from output restrictions amid smog alert.
