Hassan Rouhani decides to launch SALCO aluminum smelter
According to the news from the Iranian government, Hassan Rouhani decided to inaugurate Iran’s largest aluminum production complex in Fars province, named SALCO.
By the information from Iran's government, the project’s output could reach 300,000 tons, and the total investment could reach US$1.2 billion.
Reza Rahmani, Iran’s Industry, Mining, and Trade Minister, said on April 22nd that the project would contribute an extra 63% of aluminum output in Iran in this calendar year, which expected to reach 430,000 tons.
