Global DRI production rises in Sep
According to the statistics from the World Steel Association (worldsteel), the production of global direct reduced iron (DRI) totaled around 6.8 million this September, down by 1.5% compared to the previous month, but rising by 7.5% from the same month a year ago. 

Among them, the production from India accounted for the largest share, reaching 2.4 million tons roughly, a month-on-month increase of 18.6%. From January to September, DRI production reached 62.52 million tons, up 12.3% year-on-year.

In the first 9 months this year, the global DRI production amounted to around 62.5 million tons, rising by 12.3% from the same period a year earlier.
