Global aluminum output increases in Apr
According to statistics of the International Aluminum Institute (IAI), the global aluminum output totaled 4.87 million tons in April.
The figure was 16,000 tons lower than the previous month and up by 242,000 tons compared to the same period a year ago.
According to figures released by the IAI, global aluminum output (ex China) totaled 2.11 million tons in April, compared from 2.18 million tons in the last month.
IAI indicated that China’s aluminum production hit 2.766 million tons in April, higher than 2.707 million tons in the previous month.
