Finland’s aluminum scrap exports expected to rise by nearly 30% in 2020
According to statistics, Finland’s aluminum scrap exports were expected to reach around 82,000 tons in 2020, rising by 29.65% compared to the previous year, with export revenue of roughly US$76.6 million.
The accumulative export volume of Finland’s aluminum scrap from 2017 to 2020 was predicted to be around 251,000 tons, with total export revenue of roughly US$234.2 million.
During 2017-2020, Finland’s aluminum scrap export market was in an upward trend, which indicated that the consumption and demand for aluminum in Finland’s domestic manufacturing industry have been growing.
Finland’s aluminum scrap was mainly exported to China, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Latvia, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the UAE and Vietnam.
