Egyptian govt considers levying 10% extra import tariff on steel products
According to the news in Egypt, the prime minister of Egypt had announced would levy an extra 10% tariffs on a wide range of goods and services, including imported steel and finished steel products.

Although the government of Egypt had not explained which kind of steel would be included, the market still believed the case was now still in the negotiation stage, and would probably be changed by any possible factors.

Currently, the imported tariffs by the Egyptian government for steel were 16% on imported billet and 25% on imported long steel products.
