EEC starts safeguard investigation on stainless steel welded pipes
The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), which was formed of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan, announced to launch a safeguard investigation on stainless steel welded pipes under HS codes 7306.40.20.09, 7306.40.80.01, 7306.40.80.08, 7306.61.10.09 and 7306.69.10.09.
The investigation was proposed by main steel manufacturers in Russia as the domestic market was seriously injured by exports from the US, the EU, Turkey and other countries.
The interested parties should submit comments and information related to investigation to the EEC’s Department for Internal Market Defence by a form written in Russian within 25 working days.
