Colombian ferronickel & steel exports increase in Jan
According to the data released by the Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), Colombia exported around 17,700 tons of ferronickel in January this year, up by 49.6% compared to the same month last year. The export value totaled US$63.6 million roughly, a year-on-year increase of 48.5%.
As for steel, the exports amounted to around 25,200 tons, rising by 16% compared to January a year ago. The export value was US$75.7 million roughly, a year-on-year hike of 29.7%.
