According to the data from Colombian National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), Colombia exported around 68,000 tons of ferronickel from January to June this year, up by 53.1% compared to the same period a year ago. The export value was around US$278 million, a year-on-year increase of 99.8%.
As for steel, the exports of Colombian steel amounted to around 125,000 tons in the same period, hiking by 46.9% compared to the same period a year earlier. The export value was around US$376 million, a year-on-year increase of 87.9%.
