According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China exported around 435,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products in September. The exports amounted to approximately 4.4 million tons in the first 9 months this year, up by 2.8% compared to the same period a year ago.

In addition, the imports of unwrought copper and copper products were around 445,000 tons in September, up by 10.1% compared to the previous month; those of copper ore and concentrate reached 1.58 million tons roughly.
