Chinese iron ore price index rises on May 8
According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 315.94 points on May 8th, which was up by 1.22% or 3.81 points compared with the previous CIOPI on May 7th.
Among them, the domestic iron ore price index was 311.76 points, rising by 0.02% and 0.07 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 316.73 points, increasing by 1.45% or 4.52 points from the previous one.
