Chinese iron ore price index rises on May 6
According to the data from China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), China Iron Ore Price Index (CIOPI) was 307.70 points on May 6th, which was up by 0.39% or 1.20 points compared with the previous CIOPI on April 30th.
Among them, the domestic iron ore price index was 311.58 points, falling by 0.10% and 0.31 points compared to the previous price index; the import iron ore price index was 306.96 points, increasing by 0.48% or 1.48 points from the previous one.
