Chinese demand for crude steel & steel to reach 900 million tons in 2018
The demand for crude steel and steel in Chinese domestic market was expected to reach 900 million tons in 2018.
According to the statistics, in the first half this year, the production of Chinese crude steel totaled around 451.2 million tons, up by 6% compared to the same period a year ago; that of steel amounted to around 530.9 million tons, a year-on-year rise of 6%.
The main reason for the continuous increase of crude steel in China was due to the strong domestic demand. Steel enterprises will raise their production due to the smooth sales and great profit.
