Chinese crude steel production rises in Jul
According to the statistics, China produced around 81.2 million tons of crude steel in July, up by 1.3% compared to last month. The daily production in July was 2.62 million tons, a month-on-month drop of 1.97%. In the first 7 months this year, the production of Chinese crude steel totaled around 532.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%.
As for steel, China produced around 95.7 million tons of steel in July, rising by 0.19% compared to the previous month. The production of steel in January to July amounted to around 625.9 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%.
