Chinese coal exports rise in Feb
According to the statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China exported around 660,000 tons of coal in February, up by 40.4% compared to the same month a year ago, also rising by 9.1% from the previous month. The export value in February totaled US$97.7 million, a year-on-year increase of 61.8% and a month-on-month decrease of 11.5%. 

In the first 2 months of this year, China exported a total of around 1.26 million tons of coal, which increased by 68.1% compared to the same period a year ago. The total export value was approximately US$208 million, a year-on-year hike of 77.0%.
