Chinese aluminum scrap imports slide in Oct
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, China imported a total of around 60,200 tons of aluminum scrap in October, sliding by 47.32% compared to the previous month, also dropping by 34.69% from the same month a year ago.

Among them, the imports from the US accounted for the largest proportion, totaling around 19,000 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 31.17% and a year-on-year reduction of 27.92%. Malaysia ranked second with around 5,900 tons, hiking by nearly 2 times compared to October 2018.
