Chinese AD tariffs come into force on products from 4 countries
The Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China has announced that it’s going to impose anti-dumping tariffs on imports of stainless steel from European Union (EU), Japan, South Korean and Indonesia. The products are stainless steel billet and both of hot rolled and cold rolled merchandise of this material.
Regarding this, this authority added that the reason why the Chinese government’s obliged to take this policy is because its domestic industries have been harmed by the products from aforesaid countries. Nonetheless, for the moment this policy will be temporary.
Even though it isn’t a permanent policy, China didn’t delimit and explain about its expiration date. Lastly, imports of aforementioned merchandise from these 4 countries will suffer a tariff rate between 18.1% and 103.1%.
