China to slap 25% tariffs on $16 billion in US goods
It was reported that the US announced on August 7th that the US will impose 25% tariffs on US$16 billion in Chinese goods starting from August 23rd. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced on August 8th that it will also start to impose 25% tariffs on US$16 billion in US' goods simultaneously starting from August 23rd due to the unreasonable practice from the US.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced its final list of US imported goods subject to the new tariff, and the list included coals, crude oil, textile materials, steel products, automobiles, bicycles and related parts, medical equipment and so on.
