China slaps AD duties on stainless steel products from 4 countries
According to the report, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) announced to initiate investigation of anti-dumping on imports of stainless steel billet, stainless steel hot-rolled plates and coils from the Europe Union, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia.
The MOFCOM decided to slap the guaranty rate of 18.1%~103.1% for the above countries.
Last year, Indonesian stainless steel products were mostly exported to China and Taiwan, which brought huge pressure to the domestic suppliers in China and Taiwan.
Some market participants predicted that the Indonesian mills still chose to pay the guaranty of 20.2% or export their products through transferring from other countries to China, South Korea and Taiwan since their prices of stainless steel product still had the competitive advantage.
