China has 11 new consumers of imported bauxite in 2019
According to statistics, the consumers of imported bauxite in China reached 11 in 2019. Among them, 6 new consumers were from Shanxi, 2 were from Henan, and the remainders were from Guizhou, Chongqing and Guangxi. The annual consumption capacity of added imported bauxite was around 24.8 million tons, of which Shanxi and Henan accounted for the separate proportion of 56.5% and 25.4%.
So far, there was a total of 25 alumina plants using imported bauxite, with a roughly annual consumption capacity of 119 million tons, up by 21% compared to the same period a year ago.
