Canpack builds new aluminum can plant in Colombia
Canpack Group, the leading manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans in the world, announced that it has officially launched a new aluminum beverage can plant in Tocancipa, Colombia.
The new plant had a designed annual production capacity of more than 1.3 billion cans and the figure was expected to expand to 1.9 billion. The facility can also meet the continuously growing demand for sustainable and innovative packaging of aluminum beverage cans.
According to Peter F. Giorgi, the owner of Canpack Group, the group has decided to speed up the pace for the business expansion into the South American market with the rising demand for the above-mentioned packaging.
