Brazilian Usiminas to increase coated steel exports to Europe & US
Usiminas, a Brazilian steel mill, was planning to increase exports of coated steel products to fill the demand gap caused by the automotive industry shutdown in South America.

The company said that the products were mainly sold domestically and exported to Argentina previously but now they had increased the amount to the US and Europe.

According to statistics, Brazil is currently facing competition from Indian manufacturers in the European market.

In addition to Usiminas, many Brazilian steel mills had also increased their exports of hot-rolled coils and steel plates since the domestic demand was weak.
