Brazilian iron ore exports fall by 4.6% in Jul
According to statistics from Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazil exported around 34.3 million tons of iron ore in July, down by 4.6% from the same month a year earlier and up by 16.6% from the previous month, the highest since October 2018.

The export value was US$2.6 billion, up by 41.4% from US$1.8 billion in the same month a year ago, also up by 25.5% from US$2 billion in the previous month.

In 2018, Brazil exported around 380 million tons of iron ore, of which Vale exported 309 million tons, accounting for 80.5% of the total.
