Brazilian iron ore export value rises by 54% in Jul
According to the latest data from Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX), Brazilian iron ore export value was around US$1.8 billion, rising by 54% from same period of last year. The export volume reached around 36 million tons, rising by 15% year on year. 

The volume of exports for flat rolled steel was around 138,000 tons, dropped by 33.5% compared to July 2017. Also, the export value also dropped by 33.5% to US$96 million roughly. 

The export value of semi-finished steel products totaled around US$430 million, rising by 41.5% from same period last year. The export volume rose by 3.3% year on year to 720,000 tons.
