Brazil may extend AD duties on stainless steel welded pipes from China & Taiwan
Brazil Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) proposes to extend the anti-dumping duties on stainless steel welded pipe imports from China and Taiwan since there were enough factors to indicate that Brazilian domestic market would be injured if the tariff was withdrawn.
Since July 2013, Chinese and Taiwanese producers have paid the duties of US$359.66/ton to US$911.71/ton respectively, and the duties have expired in July 2018.
The involved products were under Mercosur HS Code 7306.40.00 and 7306.90.20.
