Argentine steel grows slightly next year
The executive director from Ternium Siderar in Argentina, Martín Berardi, said that after Argentine financial turmoil this year, there should be a slight increase in demand for steel sheet next year.

It was estimated that Argentine economy should pick up in the first half of next year, mainly driven by agricultural production, energy industry investment and construction.

Argentina was affected by the economic crisis in June, and the peso depreciated against the US dollar to facilitate export of products.

Berardi said that as Argentine economy recovered, it will export more steel in the future.
