Argentina makes AD preliminary ruling on aluminum foil imports from China
According to the result of the anti-dumping preliminary ruling on imported aluminum foil originating in China announced by the Ministry of Production and Labor of Argentina on August 8th, 2019, the anti-dumping investigation on the products involved will be continued without imposition of the temporary anti-dumping duties.
The investigation was started on March 8th, 2019 based on the request of Aluar Aluminio Argentino S.A.I.C., an Argentina-based aluminum producer.
The dumping investigation period was from March 2018 to February 2019, and the damage investigation period covered January 2016 to February 2019.
The products involved were under MERCOSUR Customs Code 7607.11.90. The ruling will be effective on the date of the resolution.
