ArcelorMittal's crude steel production remains flat in Q2
ArcelorMittal, the world's leading integrated steel and mining company headquartered in Luxembourg, announced its production of crude steel kept unchanged in the second quarter compared to the same period a year ago.
In the same quarter, ArcelorMittal’s shipment of steel was up by 300,000 tons or 1.4% year on year. As for iron ore, the production totaled around 15 million tons, dropping by 200,000 tons or 1.4% from the same period last year; the shipment amounted to around 10 million tons, a year-on-year hike of 500,000 tons or 5.3%.
