Aluminium Bahrain completes Line 6 Expansion Project
It was reported that Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, attended the inauguration ceremony for Aluminium Bahrain (Alba)’s Line 6 Expansion Project on November 24th.
Alba’s Line 6 Expansion Project is the largest expansion project in the Gulf, and it will raise Alba’s annual production by 540,000 tons, making the total capacity reach 1.5 million tons per year. Besides, the project also made Bahrain have the largest aluminum smelter in the world, which followed after China.
It was understood that the estimated investment of this project was around US$3 billion.
