Alba’s production & sales break record in Q3
According to a report from Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), its production and sales broke the record in the third quarter.
Ali Al Baqali, CEO of Alba's Acting, said this year's double-digit production and sales growth meant a good harvest at the end of the year, which also represented Alba's business transformation.
Alba is one of the world's top 10 aluminum manufacturers and one of the largest industrial companies in the Middle East. Since its establishment, its production capacity had gradually increased from 120,000 tons per year to 1.01 million tons per year.
Their production line 5 opened in 2005, doubling capacity, and this year they would open line 6.
By analyzing the data, its capacity in the first nine months of 2019 was up by 26% from a year earlier, and the outlook was still positive.
