The ninth China International Housing Industrialization Exhibition recently closed in Beijing. During the exhibition, vice minister of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development Qi Ji, the CPPCC Standing Committee member, CPPCC National Committee's Population, Resources and Environment Committee deputy director Liu Zhifeng, and other leaders visited the Asiansteel-Group exhibition site and spoke highly of Asiansteel-Group's new technology. Meanwhile, the 'steel plate shear wall technology' developed by Asiansteel-Group Construction Design and Research Institute was named the ninth China International Housing Industry Exhibition key promoting technology.

In recent years, the rapid development of China's national economy effectively promotes the urban and rural construction. However, our construction techniques and architectural concept are still way behind compared with developed countries. The exhibition was sponsored by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, with "develop low carbon economy and build tomorrow's home" as its exhibition theme and an in-depth study of China's future residential development was carried out.

Asiansteel-Group, as China's only full membership enterprise to participate in Living Steel of International Iron and Steel Association, actively promotes the development of China's steel structure housing, establishes a good working relationship with many well-known
institutes and has participated in steel structure demonstration projects in Shenyang, Dujiangyan and Chongqing. Among them, 'steel plate shear wall technology' with excellent seismic performance, space layout flexibility, simple processing and easy installation is first adopted in key reconstruction projects in Dujiangyan - Hing Yan Garden all steel construction residential house. The project has been hailed as the Living Steel global demonstration project by International Steel Association. Asiansteel-Group's participation in Shenyang Tiexi steel structure resettlement housing has also been widely recognized by
local people.

In this exposition, with "green homes, harmonious life" as its theme, the Asiansteel-Group Construction Design Research Institute exhibited technology innovation, project management innovation and outstanding cases and showed new technologies and new results in Asiansteel-Group steel structure housing industrialization applications in recent years.
